4月8-9日，第24届“外研社·国才杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛华北地区复赛在线上成功举办。我校外国语学院2018级本科生王思佳、黄若仪（指导老师聂爱萍）以第十八名的优异成绩成功晋级全国总决赛，斩获华北地区二等奖。此次比赛共有来自华北地区的94支高校队伍参加。
“外研社·国才杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛面向全国各专业大学生，由北京外国语大学主办，外语教学与研究出版社承办，自1997年首次创办至今已成功举办24届。比赛使用英国议会辩论制式（也称为世界大学辩论赛制式），每轮比赛有四支队伍同场，正、反方各两支队伍，每队两人，分别发表开篇陈述和总结陈词。
“外研社·国才杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛经过24届沉淀，已发展成为一项高规格、大规模的权威赛事活动，被纳入教育部高等教育学会发布的“中国高校创新人才培养暨学科竞赛排行榜”，大赛以赛促教、以赛育人的成果持续获得学界关注和认可。
